The US founder set up US society? Wtf?my civics may be rusty, but didn't the US founders simply set up the US government?Nope, they set up a SOCIETY'We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.' WITH A DEMOCRATIC FORM OF A REPUBLIC!
Nope, the difference between revenues and costs over the period specified was over $50 billion. When something costs $50 billion (your link) I THINK IT NEEDS A FUNDING MEASURE!read the CBO forecast againover the 10 year time frame, the refi provision, alone, DECREASED direct spending by 5 billion.you are talking about a difference of of 77.5 billion, btw. With revenues from the buffet rule coming in at 72.5 billion.spending decrease of 5 billion coming form the refi provision.in any event, it doesn't matter. Dems poisoned the bill. They know they poisoned the bill.only the most diehard koolaid drinkers are blind to that fact.the only benefit from poisoning the bill they can get is an election campaign issue. And now they have it. And it will be regurgitated on every left leaning site from now until the electionnot because these people actually care about college interest rates.
But they do care about getting Democrats elected or reelected. Nope, they set up a SOCIETY'We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.' WITH A DEMOCRATIC FORM OF A REPUBLIC!umm. They set up a government.society preceded the Constitution. And society will still be here after it's gone and we're onto something new.
